The desire to make this custom figure arose years ago, along with the ultraman custom figure I already have, I had even bought a base to make it, but as the joints were very hard, I ended up giving up and sold the figure (it was a Goliath from MU, all in white plastic, a prototype). Years later I had the idea of making an Ultraman figure even bigger, than the one I had before, and that is when I ended up finding a Max Steel figure, decently articulated and 45 cm tall (18 inches). I took the figure, and then realised that it was perfect for a Spectreman figure instead of an Ultraman.

My desire at the beginning was to sculpt the head and the symbol of the belt, but I realized that it would be very difficult to be able to do something with so many straight lines and so much symmetry, it would take forever, fortunately I found a seller online who had the head and the belt symbol, for sale.

Those who watched the series know that his costume was very rustic, the brown parts are apparently made of leather, so I left the figure full of textures. It was even easier, because then I didn't need to sand so much to get the desired finish.

Recipe:
-Max Steel figure 45 cm tall
-Details such as clothing, gloves, folds of clothing fabric, boots, etc., all in epoxy clay.
-Head and belt symbol - 3D printing
-Gold acrylic paint and brown leather paint (it looks great on the durepoxy and dries fast, so I used it), brown acrylic paint on the eyes and a little green paint on the forehead light.
**The Max Steel figure did not have rotation joint, which is in the middle of the thigh, so I took two cans of deodorant and used the piece that was fitted to make the rotation. It works like a big pivot joint.
