I totally understand this is not a cheap hobby by any means lol…..I do a lot of shopping on eBay and Mercari for used figures or just bodies and head sculpts…. There are several sellers that like a specific look and sell the other parts of their Figures.

I have sold parts and boxes to recoup some of the spending that goes into customizing figures as well but in the end you will have to be the judge of what is worth the cost of spending. As for the clay that should work fine as well for sculpting…. I just find Green stuff to be more durable and gives me greater detail when sculpting with it especially in layers….. it took me a while to get used to it because it’s not a clay and can be a bit of a pain to work with.

I have actually done two versions of JGTH and Version 2 is my favorite Jason Figure I have made.
Take a look at my recipe for making him it did require quite a bit of sculpting…. I used a Roy head and mask and sculpted over the right Eye and then sculpted the mask to the head it can be tricky but do it in sections and it will turn out.

I am currently working on a LeatherFace 2022 version from the New movie hopefully I will finish it this weekend.

The only problem with this, is having to buy multiple figures, which will cost at-least £60, and I don’t wanna do it to my Roy burns figure because I’ve had it for quite a while,and what would I do with the body, also I don’t own a Halloween 2018 figure so I’d have to spend money anyway. If I were to buy both figures, then I’ll just have to buy one figure one month, and another one the next month, which will take quite a while, I don’t mean to rant about it, just stating it, I suppose. I would most likely do a Jason goes to hell, I just don’t have the skills to do the head, what would you recommend using? I have used green stuff in the past but I just can’t get it in big amounts, also it is very annoying to use, the thing I used on Jason takes manhattan was DAS clay, which is a lot of it, and I do want to make use of it, but I would guess green stuff can be better, what would you say?

Honestly, I have no idea what my next custom will be, the main one I wanted to do was part 8, I attempted a Jason x (Pre-Uber) but it failed, got paint in the mask holes on the dream sequence head, tried to get it out by using a pin, and I scraped away at the plastic. I don’t really feel like making another one, if I were to, it would be Jason goes to hell, only difficult thing in the head, I could use clay , but it will be difficult to get the mask in the head look, even though I technically own a part 9 (move maniacs) it doesn’t look very much like part 9, but it’s because it’s such an awesome look, I would probably try it in the future, I just don’t know what the base figure will be. Any suggestions for a Neca Jason goes to hell would be appreciated. Thank you.
