I've been resistant to collecting the McFarlane DC Multiverse line because of its incompatibility in scale with previous DC figures (and with Marvel Legends, which a lot of customisers use parts from for customs in general). However, they do lend themselves well to customisation because they're relatively easy to take apart. When several Multiverse figures went on clearance, I decided to see what I could find to make a custom with, and gravitated towards Hazmat Suit Batman.

Because of the tubes and the oxygen tank on his back, he was a natural candidate for Mr Freeze. I decided to swap out the torso for that of the BAF Future's End Batjoker because of its more mechanical look. I sculpted over the Bat-symbol on the chest, and transferred the oxygen tank over, joining it to the back with sculpt. The challenge would be finding the right helmet. I had earlier attempted to use the little faceplate that came with the Hazmat Suit Batman and then fit that into some kind of hood, and it looked horrendous. Eventually, I settled on using a Citadel paint bottle. I cut the top and bottom off the bottle, turned it upside-down, then glued the lid on top. The head is a cast of a DC Direct Lex Luthor. The goggles are from a The Suicide Squad Polka Dot Man. The hands are from an Overwatch Ultimates Reaper. The freeze gun was a bit of a puzzle as well. I wound up using a rifle from an Alien Resurrection Call figure, and modified that with a tank from a Spawn movie Jessica Priest figure. The tube is from a Marvel Legends Superior Octopus. Painted it all up. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. Thanks for taking a look!
