So, since I am a big s Superboy fan of the classic Superboy/Adventures of Superboy TV Series, and considering that I already did a custome figure of the character Brimstone, played by Philip Michael Thomas in the series, I decided that I would make a figure of Superboy as he appeared in the episode when he was being supernaturally controlled by the villain, Prodo.

So, in order to do this figure, I decided to re-use the recipe that I created for my previous Superboy TV series figure, I took a DC Universe Classics/Signature Super Powers 30th Anniversary Superman figure, and used the boil and pop method to remove his head. Next, I used my Dremel to sand down the ball joint attached to the Superman figure's neck into a cylindrical post. Once the cylindrical post was formed, I next used my Dremel to partially hollow out the head of a DC Universe Classics Negative Man figure. Next, I mixed up a small batch of Milliput and jammed it into the newly formed cavity inside the head, and, while the Milliput was still soft, I jammed the cylindrical post attached to the neck of the Superman figure into the Milliput to create a small hole in the center of the head cavity and let it dry. Next, I test fit the head onto the neck, and satisfied with how the head and neck fit together, I set them aside and started working on completing the head...I cut the top hair portion off a DC Universe Classics 90s Superboy figure (essentially making a toupee...LOL) and I hollowed that out slightly. Next, I trimmed back the very top of the Negative Man head to create a notch that the Superboy hair would fit snugly on. After test fitting it a few times and trimming it until it fit right, I glued the two pieces together with some Testors Modeling Cement. Once the glue had dried, I commenced a full repaint with Testors Flat Black for the hair, Testors Acryl Peach for the small exposed portion of skin, and Testors Model Master Lizard Brown for the bandages followed by two generous coats of Flat Clear (I also repainted the neck bandages from the Negative Man figure with the Testors Model Masters Lizard Brown followed by the Flat Clear). When the Flat Clear had finally dried, I glued the head in place atop the neck post. With the new head now attached, I glued new symbols onto his chest and cape (both symbols were made by hand at a larger size, and then photocopied and shrunk to proper size...however, unlike previous hand drawn symbols I had done before, these are drawn to match the symbols worn on Gerard Christopher's Superboy costume), and TA-DA...Superboy as he appeared in the TV Series Episode Brimstone!!!

Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
