Beholders are immediately identifiable, being essentially a floating head with one single eye surrounded by ten smaller eyes on stalks. The main feature of a Beholder's anatomy is its massive, gaping jaws. I deceided to give it insect-like mandibles, as it adds to the other-wordly quality and I don't recall seeing that before on a Beholder. It's mounted on a clear rod and "floating" above some jagged rocks. Sculpted from Aves Apoxie Sculpt and painted with several brands of paints like Vallejo and Revell. Thanks for looking and please check-out my other pieces! ![]() |
