HERCULES - Made merging the original Hercules figure (for Skirt, Sash & Legs-thighs down) and the recent "Retro" Hercules for body-top of thighs & above. To retain leg articulation at thighs I had to cut down the original's strapped Legs to match height of the Retro legs where the joint would meet & drill out the interiors of the original strapped thighs where the pegs went. Then I had to cut out the corresponding peg slots from the interior of the Retro thighs, sanding them down into cone like structures to fit into the holes that I made on the original strapped thighs. Then I placed the sanded formed peg slots into the original strapped thighs and glued them in. Once cured and hardened, I was able to connect the original strapped legs to the top of the Retro thighs and retain articulation. I also removed all of the orange wash paint from the original legs using Non-Acetone nail polish remover so that the flesh tone matched closer to the Retro body. The original figure's skirt and belt piece was removed and dremel-sanded the interior to fit the Retro body. Now he is a more classic Silver Age Hercules.
