I found several X-Men mini figures in a hero collection pack on sale, I believe they were made for a board game/Heroclix type of deal, but really wanted to use then for a diorama.

I was originally going to make larger diorama but decided to make them smaller, especially when I found the base I used for all of them.

I started off by cutting the base off the figures feet, which was actually a pain because it was super thick plastic. Once that was done, I touched up the paint on the mini figure.

The Sentinel head was 3D printed, given battle damage and then painted. Once it was dry, the Wolverine figure was glued on and then everything got a black wash to blend things better and make it look more weathered. Finally, everything was sealed to help protect the paint.

Model measures about 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches with the Wolverine figure being about 1.5 inches tall.
