The base figure Marvel Legends Grey Gargoyle is a great base for the blue and grey Batman. It has the basic layout for colour scheme and just some finesse to complete the custom.
Recipe is as follows….
Marvel Legend Hydra soldier head. (It had the perfect Batman menacing frown). The Batman ears are ML Darkhawk wings. Sliced off the lowest row of feathers, and drilled them into the head and then sculpted/ blended them in using green stuff.
Sculpted around the eyes to lessen the red buggy look. (Really thought about leaving them red but decided to go with the muted white)
Forearm gauntlets are from a Dc Direct Arkham Assylum Batman.
Symbol is from my fodder bin. I think it was from a DC Direct Batman belt buckle but I can't be sure. Modifyed to adapt for this custom.
Cape is from a McFarlane Batman. Trimmed down a bit ala neck and some points at the bottom.
Hands were manicured to gat rid of the claw like ends.
Belt is a ML Maverick strap. Buckle from fodder bin.
Feet are ML Sentry feet.
Total repaint and voila there you go.
The sort of reminded me Batman year two. Detective Comics #575 cover.
