I'm not much of a gamer, and I think Tomb Raider is the only series where I've played multiple games, maybe apart from the Batman Arkham series. I love the Lara Croft character and have made multiple customs of her over the years. When I saw the Fortnite Ghoul Trooper figure, all I could see was Lara Croft. I look at this as a Lara who's halfway between 2013 Reboot Lara and Classic Lara.

The asymmetry in the design was a challenge; I would like to have used the original boots but swapped them for boots from a Nico Minoru figure, modifying the attachment point. I swapped the hands for those from Domino, because these articulated hands with the hinges at the fingers really don't work, and don't close enough around the grips of the weapons for the figure to hold them properly. I resculpted some of her top and the legs of pants where they tuck into the boots. There was a lot of dremelling to try and minimise paint rub, because the turquoise skin colour of the Ghoul Trooper is as far away from flesh tone as you can get. She has three interchangeable faces so I repainted all three, but I think I'll only really be using the default neutral expression face because I think I couldn't get the other two expressions to look natural enough. The backpack is from an old movie Lara Croft figure, with a peg attached to it so it plugs into the back of the Ghoul Trooper figure, where there already is a hole for the back bling. The ponytail is made of wire that I twisted together to form the braid, so it is poseable. The pistols are from a Kabuki Akemi figure, and the holsters are made from craft pleather.
