This may have been one of the toughest projects I've had. It was a commission from my fantastic client in the Philippines. Calvin was made from a random figma torso, sculpted the heads arms and legs. Hobbes was sculpted from scratch using a marvel legends leg to sculpt the torso onto. Once everything was sculpted, which went through many revisions, I molded and cast, using resin dye to get the base orange and flesh tones, then painted over that. I used figma joints for the articulation. Between my job and just life in general, this project has taken me around 8 months. Luckily, my client was amazingly understanding about the wait.
