The likeness between Hugues Jackman and Clint Eastwood is obvious. When I saw the first pictures of the Marvel Legends Wolverine, I knew I was going to have a lot of work!
This is the first time I've done an "ultimate" version of a character with interchangeable parts.
The head: I reinforced the cheekbones, added wrinkles, reshaped the beard, eyebrows and hair, added the cigar and lengthened the nose. I used the base of Teddy Flood's hat and sculpted the rest. I sculpted the neck and the scarf.
Upper body: I redesigned the shirt collar and sleeves. Carved the vest over it. I glued very fine sand on it for wool texture. A small wire for the tie. The hands, like the head, are detachable and orientable. There are 2 right hands: one holding the gun, the other empty. I sculpted (twice!) the leather protection on the right hand and inserted small wires for the seams. The poncho is entirely sculpted in Milliput paste. The franches are once again little wires. I sculpted the famous metal plate that Clint uses in the first movie and added a string.
Lower body: I resculpted the belt and replaced the holster, which I shortened so that the pistol came out at the bottom. I also changed the boots a lot: redesigned the toe, the thong, the spurs, the buckle.
