Finally completed my WINTER GUARD team. I wanted to get more of the characters from that great comic image I kept going to for reference(see image below) Avengers 700th issue or Avengers 10 gave us a nice modern look at this team. Very happy that they are getting their own comic run soon!

Recipes: -

VOSTOK was first. I used Scorpion arms and legs, with demogoblin base and cape. Forearms are paladin with fodder iron man like hands. Painted up Iron Man helmet. Sculpted some tears for torn shorts look.

DARKSTAR : Hellcat base to make yellows easier. Modified Enchantress head.

PERUN - Odinson base with King Thor/Odin arms. Modded punisher riders helmet jammed over a Bro Thors head painted. Sculpted extra horns. Torn Odinson cape worked out well too.

URSA MAJOR - I was looking for a standing grizzly bear figure everywhere.... and couldnt find one. Finally found this one on EBAY and got lucky that he has the mean expression. Seller thought it might be a figure from 1970s Grizzly Adams figures...

RED WIDOW was a cool find. I don't know what the base figure is, I picked it up at a local comic shop. Articulation is similar to McFarlane stuff.. painted a spiderman armor helmet that fit into the hood.
