This is a character I have always wanted to make just due to his design, this is Solar the man of the atom. I think that it is quite obvious that his design was heavily insiped from Cyclops of the X-Men however I think that its pretty fun and cool. this figure is made from the standard Bucky Cap mold and I used a custom head cast however a hooded Cyclops figure should also work perfectly like the one from the recently released Tri-Sentinal baf wave. Even tho Solar didn't have the greast stories in the old Valiant comics it would have been cool to see him revamped like all their other heros back when they rebooted in 2012. I love the whole idea that he is made of living energy and that he wears this suit to protect others around him from radiation posioning however he has his own private labs and quaters where he doesn't have to wear it a bit like how darth vader has his medition chambers. On wiki they seem to describe Solar almost to the same power level as Dr. Manhattan however I like to think of him more on the same scale as Captain Atom and Nova. I had fun making this custom and I like it. I hope you all do too and thanks for looking :)
