Saw this Venom in TRU. Although it's the same exact sculpt that has been issued and reissued a few times over the last few years this one featured the current Mac Gargan markings. I thought it was a bit of a token gesture towards the Venom re-design so I snapped him up and decided to give him the full treatment. The tail came from an old Scorpion figure and I had to do some sculpting for the "sting" to make it look more organic and less mechanical. Part of me wishes the tail was chunkier but decided in the end not to add sculpt as to keep it poseable. The only other sculpting beyond that was some detail to create the eyes and eye socket. Painted with Citadel paints.
