Here's another rare instance of a Sonic OC that is a mythical animal, in this case a raiju, a creature of Japanese mythology. Zinoji started out as a Sonic figure, I cut off the spines and nose from the head to sculpt on new ones (though the new spines on the side of his head look so much like Sonic's original ones I wonder why I bothered...) and added the tail and some crystal looking stuff with some apoxie.
