This is so simple that I feel bad calling it a custom! It's the Chameleon suited body, with a Multiple Man head. The head and hands are repainted in purple, obviously. And he'll do for my Purple Man!

I'm not really looking to become a professional customiser or anything, but I always want to be able to improve, so if you like something about the way I've done a custom, please tell me so I can do that more. And if you think I could have done something better, tell me, and if you've got suggestions on how to improve I'd love to hear them!!

Hi pasqueler great custom, but I agree with Jedd, thinning more the paint will help avoid those brush strokes. At some pint, dry brushing has worked for me, but it takes lots of time, and still won't work well around the eyes.

Thank you for hearing me out! I mainly use Tamiya, and use Tamiya brand thinner on them. I think with Citadel, a wet palette can help - you can also make your own. A bit of water will probably work too.

I think this is a great choice of head! I struggle with skintones a lot, and I think my advice would be to always do multiple thin coats, because the paint looks just a bit gloopy here. I think you also want to sand down the wrist joints, which are always a tricky area when it comes to paint rub. I think it's great that you're asking for constructive criticism even though you've already made so many customs. You will keep improving the more you make; all the best!

Thank you! Yes - normally I would have sanded the wrists down but I was feeling a bit lazy and when the boil and pop didn't help get the wrists out (it felt like it was going to break the plastic) I just sort of gave up! If I come back to it again I might sand down his face again and try and paint it once more. I know what you mean about it looking gloopy... I use citadel paints - is there a way you thin out the coats? Would you just use water?
