Hello fellow Realmers!

Another set of Power Ranger Psycho repaints I did for a customer. This time in toy colors instead of the more metallic looking ones from the show. The figures were primed with Model Masters Acryl primer, then coated with Citadel's Flash Glitz Yellow and Emperor's Children. Some highlights and voila! Bandai Legacy Rangers completed.

Nicely done. How did you get the Citadel and Testor's to work together? Anytime I've tried the citadel rubs off fairly easily, even after I seal it.

by just mixing them. They both are acrylics. Usually acrylics work with other acrylics. I mix them with vallejos, P3, Model Masters etc. They can all be mixed with each other. I thought that was a widely known application. For example, the primer there is from Model Masters, but the paints are Citadels. You can also mix them in bottle. My red is 50% citadel 50% Model Masters and so on.

I don't know what my problem is then. Every time I've tried applying Citadel over Model Masters it rubs off fairly easily. It also stays slightly tacky when I apply vallejo varnish acrylic sealer as well.

mix them in bottle. not on top of each other. that would be "topcoating"
