Maria Callasantos joined the Morlocks after massacring her own family in a fit of rage. Not happy there, she joined Cable's X-Force. She later betrayed the team, and joined the villainous Mutant Liberation Front and the New Hellions.
Oh man, this has been my White Whale! I've been chasing after the perfect iteration of this character for years. Every time I started pre-production, I'd end up scrapping the effort. With all the recent X-Force MLs released in the last couple of years, I buckled down to finally make this figure. I started out with a Scream body. I took a Wild Child head and feet and modded them by adding 'fuller' lips and I shortened the length of the feet. The hands are from Prowler and arm guards from Black Bolt. I modded Namor's ears and added them to the head, and added Weapon X's (AoA Wolverine) hair. Most of the costume was made from a rubber glove. I made a poseable tail and made tufts of fur with fodder hair and a glue gun. My beloved label tape was also used for costume details. Done!
