I wanted to complete the team I thought we would have had by now... not sure if we ever will get this team from Hasbro. So I got to work on a few additions to Hyperion. I wanted to come as close as I could to their current looks in Squadron Supreme of America. This team was supposed to have a comic in the Empyre series, but looks like it got cancelled. :( Hope we see some form of them soon. I always liked that they were DC-like characters.

I started with NIGHTHAWK which I really couldn't believe was such a bland release from Hasbro. If you look back at the M Universe figure, its actually not bad at all. But his current look has a cool light blue, and some better colors, so I was excited to give him the update. Stole some wings off a Black Knight helmet and a fodder belt added to be more like Batman.

Next was the Whizzer/BLUR. I guess he is going by Blur now. I took a ML Eel figure and added a Paladin head for the glasses look. Added some of the lightning effects that were on Eels hands to give Blur a more Flash look. Blur has red glasses, but I wanted to keep my BLur black and yellow.

NExt up was Warrior Woman/POWER PRINCESS. PP is supposed to be a very close rip off Wonder Woman, so I used a DC wonder woman figure, painted black, and added a X23 Laura Head. Resin cast a shield to be a little smaller and added the recycled bird that I took the wings off for my nighthawk.

Last up was DOCTOR SPECTRUM. Used another Eel figure and painted. Sculpted in his power prism to his chest.

I still may go back and update Hyperion a bit more. I sculpted the back of his cape so that it looked a little better in the front parts. Also may still add some form of headwear piece to P Princess.
