This was a spur of the moment figure I really ended up enjoying to make.

I had a spare 12 inch Mace Windu figure and decided to go with a "What If?" concept.

The idea here was that Mace Windu somehow survived his duel with Palpatine as well going into hiding after Order 66. Like Obi-Wan and Yoda, he choose to disappear from galactic affairs. Due to still being hunted by the Empire, needing to defend himself and having lost his lightsaber and rare purple kyber crystal when he lost his hand, he was forced to craft a new one. He choose to make a green bladed double lightsaber. The double blades because of its increased combat ability (he is still Mace Windu after all and a master combatant) and the green kyber crystals due both them being more commonplace as well as his shift in the Force-those familiar with Star Wars lore know that green blades often represent a Jedi Counsular. Consular's were Jedi who focused more on Force abilities than combat. Having been humbled during his duel and the fate of the Jedi Order, Mace had become more in tune with the Force in his exile as opposed to the more combat oriented he had been in his prime.

Overall it was a fun custom to make. Most of the work came on the head sculpt, I sculpted a beard and then repainted a lot. He was given a blind eye as well as lightning scars to make him look aged and worn.

His clothes were weathered and he was given more practical looking belts and packs as opposed to the more ornate Jedi ones.

Finally, his right hand was repainted black to make it look gloved over his new mechanical hand.
