Kendal Ozzel was born to a wealthy family on Carida and served in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. He would advance in rank until he served as the admiral of the fleet that included Lord Vader's Executor as they searched for the whereabouts of the Rebels. When a probe droid discovered signs of a settlement upon an icy planet, Ozzel brushed it off for lacking definitive truth. However, he was overruled by Vader and ordered to make haste to the planet. However, Ozzel brought the fleet out of hyperspace directly above Hoth this alerting the Rebels to their arrival allowing them to activate their shields which forced the Empire to forgo orbital bombardment and instead deploy a costly ground assault that would give the Rebels time to evacuate. For his blunder, Ozzel was contacted by Vader and force choked to death.

Ozzel was another fun Imperial to add to my collection thanks to another great 3D printed head from Watto's Scrapyard. Besides that I used a Krennic body to give a little bit of variety alongside Veers, Piett, and Needa on my Empire shelf. It didn't hurt that Krennic had the correct number on his rank badge, so it was just a matter of adding an extra code cylinder and repainting the badge. Which allowed me to focus more on the bring his skin tones to life, and pretty happy with how that turned out.
