If you are not a lady or a child-sized adult, let me tell you, you are in for a world of pain! lol

After a long time away, I've decided to make this guy as a birthday gift for one of my dearest and oldest friend, who is also a big fan of LOTR. Overall, it was not a complicated custom, as this base was used from a previous ML Doctor Doom custom I did a few years ago. For this rendition of the charcater, I've tried to make his movie apperance in a more straight-foward, simplistic fashion. I wanted it to be able to get in some warrior-like poses, while still looking kind of a heavy, warlock type.

His robes and cape are made from fabric, which I've painted it to give him a more deep look. Sculpted his helmet on the ML Stryfe head, which was sort of a great base to work with. His sword is made from a dremmeled cd hard cover plsatic, and then sculpted on with epoxy clay (If you ever need small melee weapons, like swords, bows, knifes and other kinds of bladed details, I highly recomend this method).

His mace was the most fun, yet trick part of this custom. I've took 2 tower pieces from an incomplete chess game I had, cut their top and glued them. Then, with some hard plastic from that cd cover I had, I made small bits to fit into the craves and make these bladed-like parts of the mace. Then,I interwined the chains with a thin wire, glued both extremities, and sculpted a simple handle for it, and intead of painting it, with some thin, ribbon-like wire tape, covered it so it won't get scratched by the sharp hands of the figure (same thing with the sword handle).

Fire effect for the sword is made from hot glue, and his base is made as one of the 9 rings of power Sauron gave the mortal men, now his Nazgûl pals. The inscription says "Nine for mortal men doomed to die". This translation I've got from an image I've found on DeviantArt, by
MURCHIEMONSTER. It's supposed to be from a Witch King concept art from the Lord of the Rings Online game, so I think the translation is solid lol.
