It's been a while since I made Mephiles, but the recipe remains mostly unchanged. The base figure is almost entirely Shadow, but I cut the fists off the glove cuffs and replaced then with Wave's hands so he'd have open gesticulating hands that still have the wrist swivels (I wanted to preserve as much articulation as possible since this figure is going to be used in stop motion) and I also made sure the feet were large and flat enough for him to stand unassisted, my last Mephiles had more accurate feet but he needed a figure stand. The hardest part is the paint job, he needs to look like recently cooled lava and rough stone, meaning the paint has to be applied thin and rough, and I can't go over it with a second coat. If it looked too smooth it would be inauthentic, but then any asymmetries stick out like a sore thumb.
