Moradmin Bast was an Imperial General who served as Chief a aboard the first Death Star. Bast was amongst several Imperial officers who gathered aboard the battle station to discuss the Rebellion and the threat it's having obtained the plans to the Death Star might offer. Little information about Bast is given prior to this time period, but soon after the conference, Bast approached Grand Moff Tarkin and tried to persuade him to evacuate the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin. Tarkin brushed aside Bast's efforts and both men perished soon after when Luke Skywalker fired a proton torpedo into one an exhaust port opening which set off a chain reaction causing the massive battle station to explode.

Bast was made using a General Veers body (thanks, Walgreens!) and a head purchased from Watto's Scrapyard online. Besides that it was simple matter of painting. Not the most difficult of efforts, but I'm happy to add him to my A New Hope Imperial shelf.
