This set started off as a very random but then long labor of love. The base was originally a younger kids learning toy modeled to look like a dinosaur construction toy. It was also a perfect 3.75 figure scale and I got it for free so I knew I had to do SOMETHING with it.

Ultimately I settled on a post apocalyptic style vehicle...mostly because the base was so ridiculous looking compared to 'normal' vehicles.

My idea was that in this vehicles universe, it was a custom made heavy equipment utility vehicle that had been commissioned to be used exclusively in a dinosaur themed amusement park. The owners wanted to keep the theme even with their maintenance machines so it functioned just as well as a normal loader-in this case, even better since it had to be designed and built to support the extra weight of its custom design. When the world fell, for whatever reason it did, surviors came across the park and its unique vehicles and scavenged what they could, turning the family friendly park machine into an end of the world Killdozer.

But anyhow, the original base was heavily modded. The buckets dinosaur teeth were pulled (it was supposed to be a practical vehicle), a roller was 3D printed and then mounted to the front with hot glue to look like slapdash welding. The back tail was also given new spikes with the same welding look. On top I added pipes to make it look more 'heavy equipment'look as well as mounted guns on the top of the bucket and roof to give it a more battle ready look. Finally, various luggage and equipment was added above the tracks since it is still a hauling type of vehicle.

Everything was then repainted, heavily weathered and sealed.

I also added a 3.75 scale figure from the JW toy line who was also weathered and dirtied up to look like a survivor as a driver.

All and all, it was kind of a long project but it was pretty fun!
