My last attempt at max was fine for its time, but I've come too far not to do it better. It was an excercise in doing what I can with what I have. Since then a whole new world opened up. Highest prioriry was getting the head right. I purchased a snyderman 1/6 scale max head and had my witchdoctor shrink it down to my size. A couple small enhancements were made before molding my final max head, stubble texture, some extra feathering of the hair, little things. The underlying body is a neca rambo, with a terminator jacket cut up and refit to size. The torn bicep arm is custom sculpt, as is the shoulder pad, knee pad, leg brace, some resculpting around the boot knife, duty belt and right hand glove. Shins were combined with the same t800s boots, with t2 feet. Shotgun is a heavily modified version of the same double barrel I've passed around several customs, totally remade barrels, reshaped the forend for film accuracy and added some detail to the reciever. The crecent wrench and multi-tool were sculpted as well. The visibility of dirt/weathering detail will likely depend on your screen settings. Finally I have a version of max I can be proud of. And I plan another mighty prop to accompany him in the not too distant future.
