I love the dark knight/batman movie masters series and it was driving me nuts to not have a superman (brandon routh version) to go with them. So, as a base figure i took a marvel legends black spiderman. I really liked the tall, slim but really toned look of the figure, much like routh's which is more of a swimmers build as opposed to a body builder. . . Superman's powers come from the sun, not from lifting weights. The figure was a little taller than the batman, say if christian bale is 6. 1, routh is 6. 4 so it made sense. I used a dc direct green lantern head, dremeled off the mask, put on about 12 superthin coats of flesh tone to get rid of any evidence or imperfections from the mask, then, repainted. Made the belt and chest insignia from really thin rubber, actually the shirt from the wrestler to spiderman movie figure. I also chose to make a a cloth cape (i may change this later). I popped off the neck, laid in the cape then remounted the neck so it appears that the cape is tucked into the suit like in the movie. I think he looks cool with the movie masters. Enjoy!
