Hello again, I am back with a new custom: the Iron Man Mark 3.

This is a custom I longed to do but never got around till recently, thanks to this Pandemic. Anyway, this is a custom red and gold Iron Man Mark 3 made from the 2008 Iron Man Mark 3 Repulsor Red figure. It was my first Iron Man toy ever from way back in 2008 and my only 6-inch one till I got the ML Endgame Mark 85. It was originally Red and Silver, an homage to the Silver Centurion. I never got a normal Mark 3 so I ended up with that.

I used Acetone to remove the already faded silver and then disassembled it. For the red, I used Botny Metallic Spray Paint Honda Red and though it did not come out the way I expected it to I'm pretty happy with it. For the gold, I used Tamiya Acrylic Titanium Gold, which was actually not what originally wanted. I wanted the Tamiya Gold Leaf but the Titanium Gold was the only one in stock. It was actually good as the gold resembles the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Iron Man MK. 3 Birth of Iron Man edition. the blue and silvers are also Tamiya Acrylic, Metallic Blue and Flat Aluminum respectively. Then I sprayed a layer of Bosny Clear coat to seal it. I also remolded the right hand into a fist, with a hair dyer and super glue.
