This was an off shoot idea from the Devilman series, where the characters wore battle-armor in the siege for Heaven and Earth. Akira, now leader of the SunMoon Sect, in alliance with Omen and his soldiers, combat the legions of Satan's army.
Got a lot of inspiration from the Saint Seiya myth figures while making this one. The original sculpt work on the base figure was phenomenal so didn't mess with it. Just highlighted with some rust and copper tones. The spikes coming out from his knees are a pair of horns from the McFarlane Horrid. The spear belongs to Purgatori, and the sword from a Redeemer Spawn, added links of chain around the neck. Only the head came from the Fewture Akira figure, with resculpted hair. Just cut spikes of plastic, glued on, sculpted over, repainted.
