For fun, my brother and I were talking and decided to make a line of figures for the SNK arcade game King of the Monsters 2. Growing up we had the SNES port of the game. I went with the alien monsters while he is building the heroes. At some point we will have them all together, but for now we have Clawhead, the third boss of the game lurking near the "Grand Canyon". Spur of the moment, I was looking through my fodder and I located two similar random wrestling figures. I began by sanding off their ears and then attached their severed heads to the feet of a headless Marvel Legends Tiger Shark figure. I then used two Halloween skulls for the "mouth eyes". Wooden stir sticks were used for the teeth and the flesh was made from model magic covered with a mix of modge podge and black paint. The pair of spikes behind the heads came from a broken tooth necklace. I painted it with acrylic paint then sealed with a clear layer of modge podge. It is not perfect, but my kids recognize him, so I feel that is a win. Thank you for looking!
