I wanted this to be a ‘rebuilding, and rebranding’ Maul; here we see a a a bit of a scavenger, a survivor. He’s almost lost everything, but is still confident in continuing on.

S.h. Figuarts head mated to the neck peg of the articulated icons solitaire body. I chose that body because it scales very well with the head, which is perfect the way it is. The body is lean, shirtless, and the base coat was black, which is a plus. I removed the lower legs from the body, because I think they are just a little too long to be Maul. I found a KO vulture, and used the shin area for his legs. Then I mated the feet from marvel select Panther with the shins, with double ball pegs.
After that the paint work started, making his tattoos, and making his legs and feet look good. He is wearing soft goods pants, which I thought looked really nice. Kit bash parts include: belt made from combination mezco cat woman and Luke skywalker (both halves of his own lightsaber are in the louch) and a canteen from captain America. That neck piece came from a sabyr, and I thought it just looked cool on him. Then top it all off with the fur drapery from m’bakku. I also later added a tattered cape, which hangs nicely under the shoulder piece.
