Thanks for the run down!!
You put a-lot into that figure!!
Great job! I agree 100% about Donald’s Sam Loomis being the star of the Franchise.
I’m always on the lookout for a body that will work for a Dr. Loomis.
( I am Wanting to do a curse of Michael Myers version of Dr. Loomis to go with my curse of Michael Myers custom..... I’m hoping since Neca did a 1981 Loomis Retro-cloth they’ll do an ultimate Dr. Loomis in 7 inch as well.)

I really don’t know if they’ll ever revisit him in 7” form. And it’s funny; part 6 is probably my favorite after part 2. That Loomis would be a hard one to pull off though. I remember thinking as a kid that his outfit just looked bizarre. Like proportionally, he had skinny legs but his torso was so big! Have you posted that part 6 Michael custom?

Love it!!!
I have been wanting to make a custom Dr. Loomis For a while now.
I am pretty sure I was eyeballing that same head sculpt for a while on eBay as well lol.
Just couldn’t find the right body to pull it off.
Great work!!!
What parts did you use?

I know what you mean - $30 was a hard sell just for a head. But the original is astronomical and the guy did a great job on it. The trench coat came from Mezco’s the Spirit, torso - NECA Shawn of the Dead, suit coat was from Mattel’s WWE line, arms - NECA Tech Noir Terminator, legs - Jakks WWE Big Jim Ross, shoes - Art Asylum Captain Kirk. It didn’t start out that way though. The problem was the height of the head. NECA used to make their figures bigger and then way smaller, so I had to find a way to make him bulkier but not too tall. Started off with a NECA Mr White body but he looked like a bobble head, even though the 2 actors are the same height and weight. But I had a lot of spare parts in the fodder box. I think that’s why you don’t see many Dr. Loomis customs. As simple as his outfit was in that movie, there’s no one figure, to my knowledge, that you can just grab and repaint. But what can you do? Dr Loomis was the star of that franchise and between Laurie Strode and Sam, I’d go with Sam in action figure form any time.
