Custom 1:12 Injured Luke Skywalker & Bacta Tank. Luke is a combo of Farmboy Luke (crotch up) & Ghostbusters Plasma Series Danna Barrett (legs & feet) Boil & pop all legs off & attach Danna legs to Luke body. Using Exacto Knife carefully slice of the copy right words on the right leg & sand smooth. Paint stomach & legs (Danna legs are too pale) to match chest skin tone (Mixture of 2-3 flesh tones until right) & add matte sealer. Get hot glue gun ready gently squeeze out 1 drop & “grab” with a toothpick & put on Lukes head & pull away. Do this multiple times until you’re happy with the outcome. This is simulating hair floating in water. Paint the entire head to your liking. I used Apple Barrel Golden Sunset as the base coat, added satin sealer & added a Classic Caramel “wash” over the hair. The chest harness/hanging straps is rubber band & a left over rig from a female Ghostbuster figure painted in Pewter Gray. Weight belt is piece if elastic with craft foam “weights”. The Bacta Tank is a 40oz Skippy Peanut Butter jar upside down. I drilled 2 small holes on the “top” (bottom of jar) for the rubber band to push through. The rubber band ends are held in place with a thin metal rod. (Toothpick will work) The top & bottom are various pool parts & the PB jar lid spray painted Rust-Oleum Winter Gray & Pweter “wash”. The pb jar lid has 4 small holes drilled into it to accept the lights. (Mini Christmas Tree lights from Dollar Tree) I ran the light wire from the ceiling through one of the pool parts & pushed the lights into the holes. Now to assemble the Bacta Tank with Luke inside. I used the breather that came with the SDCC Han Solo Mynock hunt & placed on Lukes head. Put the chest rig on Luke, slide rubber band through the back of chest rig. Pose figure to your liking & push rubber band through hole up top, (bottom of jar)I had to use a long metal rod to push the rubber band in the hole, & insert rod/toothpick through loop & repeat on other side. Place jar on base & place top with wires on top of jar. Turn on lights & pose figures & create the scene from The Empire Strikes Back. I have multiple colored lights & tried out Red & Blue.
