The body is an X-wing with the wings being 3D printed from Shapeways. The Gunboats are a dark gray so I simply used Tamiya Gray Spray Paint. The wings already had a design on them after being printed, so I just taped along where necessary and painted the areas in red. The front was cut off at an angle, blocked off with a piece of stryene sheet and tamiya putty applied. The same goes for the astromech socket and landing gear. Unfortunately no working landing gears. Lastly I dry-brushed some black on it to weather it.
