I love the Punisher and the Netflix design is one of my favourites. I really wanted to transfer the trench coat look into a slightly more modern take on the character. I bought an epic heroes punisher cheap off Ebay and used its arms, coat and head for this piece. They were then added to the vintage wave punisher, which is the same and the Walgreens exclusive punisher, added on some shin pads from a neca Kick Ass 2 figure and that was the base figure done. But I didn't wanna stop there. The main thing I love about the Punisher's design is his vest. The Mezco Punisher was my main inspiration here as I used some cheap, thin black and white foam to create the vest. This was a bit trial and error as I originally intended to have the vest cover the whole torso but the trench coat wasn't able to then fit over the top of that. So instead I built the large skull piece and had it attach with some elasticated straps around his shoulders and onto the belt. Overall, I think this custom was a complete success and makes for a really unique looking piece. I highly recommend you try this out for yourself! I'd love to hear your feedback!
