I have three berserkers and wanted one to be the leader.
In a sketch by Alan Lee I saw an Uruk on the ladder with this spiked club.
That seemed like a nice alternative weapon to make. It is made of wood. Something like the trofee weapon a leader may wield.
I used his helmet for the banner carrier, so sculpted this one with clay straight on the head. The plates are plastic pieces.
To make them differ, they got their own patterns of painted hands, details in the leather and cloth.
The leader got a necklace of small beads with added nails, as if it are bearnails.
A great brutal pack it became!
