For my Uruk-Hai army, I needed a commander.
He is inspired by the brute that stands hooting on the rock, in The Two Towers, attack on Helm's Deep.
The Uruks have a discpline and uniformity that reminds me of the Roman legions.
Therefor I made the commander like a centurion. The frontal helmet piece helps in that image.
For that reason I chose a red cape, instead of a more likely black one. He stands out really bright now.
The red reflects their lust for blood, shown on the helmets of the officers.

CUSTOMIZING
What I did was open up his mouth and give him fangs.
He got upper leg armour: plastic covered with greenstuff.
The cape is an old T-shirt, with an iron wire in the bottom.
Some fur is placed under the chainmail.
The helmet is playmobil, the visor too. The cheek plates are plastic + greenstuff.It opens on screws now.
The plate on top is a thick piece of plastic.
The hair is doll-hair.
The sword is custom made.
