I love black variants to characters. Pretty much anytime I see a character I like, I look up a dark version of it to see if it exists. Apparently there was a black variant of the Ghidorah species in one of the Mothra movies, but wow there were also a ton of black concept art. And as luck would have it, a black variant got to be in this run. Redone with red eyes and given a very dark gray drybrush to help the details pop. I might try to pick up an extra Ghidorah at some point for a variant. I really thought red wings would have been a nice touch here, but we went full black. One more design to go. This one definitely not a solid color.
