So, I needed to take a slight break from my Superman related figures and do something a little different. Since I am also a fan of the classic DC character of Starman, I decided that I would do the forgotten Starman, David Knight, eldest son of the original Starman, and brother of the most recent user of the identity, Jack Knight.
So, to do this figure, I took a DC Universe Classics Golden Age Starman figure, and used the boil and pop method to remove his head. Next, I gave his head and neck a base coat of Testors Model Masters Dark Ghost gray, followed by two generous coats of Testors Model Masters Gloss Green (I also repainted the outer areas of the cape with the Testors Model Masters Gloss Green to even out the cape with the hood on the head). When the green paint had finally dried, I gave the head, neck, and outer areas of the cape with two generous coats of Flat Clear. Once the Flat Clear had finally dried, I again used the boil and pop method to reattach the head to the body. Finally, with the body fully reassembled, I equipped the figure with an Cosmic Staff that originally went to a DC Universe Classics Jack Knight Starman figure, and TA-DA...David Knight, Starman VI, the son of the original Starman!!!
Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
