So I really like the way the new Sideshow mythos Boba fett turned out and wanted a 6" figure in a similar style. This guy was a lot of fun to make and I really like that just crawled out of a Sarlacc pit ragtag-desert wanderer look. So I made this custom with the help of my brother using Jango's belt and pistols, a DLT 19 from a sandtrooper(the sling we removed from the T21), and for the poncho and wrapping on the rifle we took an old tan shirt, cut the pieces just right then burnt the edges of the poncho with a lighter.
Again I used mostly Citadel paints and I'll list them just in case you wanna use the color scheme I used. For all the Green portions I used Waaagh! Flesh Darkened down with Biel-Tan green (shade) , added Warpstone Green and yriel yellow for the chipping effects; for the red sections I used Khorne red, darkened down with Agrax eartshade (wash), then for chipping I added Evil sunz scarlet; The jetpack was painted in Macragge blue, Averland sunset (mustard yellow), mournfang brown, and Mechanicus standard grey, then heavily drybrushed with runefang steel (silver). The missle painted Mechanicus standard grey, darkened with Agrax earthshade, and drybrushed with runefang steel (silver); for the knee/shoulder pads I used Averland sunset (mustard yellow) then edged it with Runefang steel (silver).; on the helmet I used Testor's acrylic Gloss Black on the visor, Flat black for the Jaig eyes (id say surviving the pit of carkoon is worthy of these lol), the side panels/rangefinder stem were painted with leadbelcher (gunmetal/Dark Silver), shaded with nuln oil, and drybrushed with runefang steel (silver); the boots I painted the mid stripes with zandri dust (like a khaki brown) and the spats with Unshanti Bone (cream/off white); the braids on his arm were painted with Zandri dust (like a khaki brown) Then two coats of agrax earth shade, and Mechanicus standard grey for the bands on them; finally on the damage and scuffs I used leadbelcher (gunmetal/Dark Silver) shaded with Nuln oil on all the dents and bullet holes (to make them appear older/burnt) and using a fine detail brush I put some very fine stripes of runefang steel (silver) with chipping segments, the drybrushed the edges with runefang steel (silver) to make the armor appear weathered and old. I did not paint the flight suit as I think it looks good enough, and it being a flat off grey really makes all the other colors pop.
If you have any questions or comments about this guy please post them, I am eager to hear some of you guy's feedback. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
