This is number 23 in my series of Earth-2 Superman fan fiction. This character is Alexei Luthor, Jr., the son of classic Earth-2 Superman arch-nemesis Alexei Luthor and the arch-nemesis of Superman II, the son of the Earth-2 Superman.

The figure was a pretty simple custom to do. I wanted his suit to be a merging of the classic 1970's Earth-1 Lex Luthor super-suit and the Justice League Animated series version 1 Lex Luthor costume that he wore in the 2-part episode "Injustice For All". So, I took the DC Universe Classics Gotham City 5 boxset Lex Luthor that I had previously removed the head from to make my custom business suit Lex Luthor figure, and using my Exacto blade, removed the green Kryptonite cylinders from his boots and legs. Next, I applied a coat of Tamiya Putty White over the areas of the boots and legs where the cylinders had been, and then sanded smooth once dry to hide where the cylinders had been. With the legs and boots sanded, I commenced a full repaint with two coats of Testors Model Masters Gloss Green for the legs and Testors Model Masters Flat Black for the boots, followed by two generous coats of Testors Model Masters Flat Clear. Once the paint and flat clear on the legs and boots had fully dried, I attached the head from a DC Direct Infinite Crisis Alexander Luthor to the body. With Alexei Luthor, Jr. fully assembled and painted, I gave him the Kryptonite Blaster equipped with the chunk of Green K from the DC Universe Classics Kryptonite Chaos boxset, and TA-DA...Alexei Luthor, Jr., criminal scientist, son of Alexei Luthor, and arch-nemesis of Superman II, the son of the Earth-2 Superman!!!
