Since I was small, I'd longed for figures of the "Teenagers with attitude", but Ban Dai never produced them. There were the Flip Head Rangers, as well as, I promise you, doll series branded as "Power Rangers for Girls" that had the female characters as small 9" dolls with two separate outfits for costume changes.
For this custom, I simply put the head from the Flip Head Blue Ranger figure onto Owen's body. It was that simple. The Owen figure from the basic assortment of Jurassic World figures was already decked out in a blue palette wardrobe, and Billy's head fit nicely on the body. The smaller scale worked great with existing Power Rangers figures. The total height is closer to 5.5 than 6" but it works as a human scale figure in the Power Rangers world.
Finally, after nearly forty years, I have my favorite character as an action figure.
