Small guys can be some of the most annoying to work on. Not so much because of the size itself, but on the availability of parts. I've done a few before, and I actually have an even smaller piece I'm making on the side. Hoping to get around to finishing him before the end of the year. But thankfully, this guy worked well without me having to work out alternate parts.

Full recreation of the Hobbit figure. Sculpted on the belt, the gut, the full shirt and collar, and the bib thing and bow tie piece. Sanded down the lower half of the pants and smoothed the legs over with sculpt. Then sculpted on the socks and shoes. Sculpted up the belt, then removed the hair and smoothed over the head. Pickaxe was a small spear with the head cut off and the full pickaxe piece sculpted on. From there, a full repaint, and all done!
