This is so awesome. I've used similar techniques for miniature game terrain (like Dungeons and Dragons, if you're not familiar) but nothing in this scale, because tiny apartment. Great stuff man.

That is a nice diorama. Makes me want to do something similar for my Studio Series figures but space and lack of skill is an issue with me :P
