“I have waited a long time for you, Champion of old Tamriel... how little you understand, you cannot stop Lord Dagon... my long duel with the Septims is over, and I have the mastery. The Emperor is dead. The Amulet of Kings is mine. And the last defender of the last ragged Septim stands before me, in the heart of my power. Let us see who at last has proved the stronger.” What is it with wizards in medieval fantasy they cause all the problems! Well there is a reason for that obviously they have the power to put these catastrophic events in motion. Mankar Camoran is the leader of the Mythic Dawn, the Daedric cult that assassinated the Emperor and tried to bring about the destruction of all Tamriel by helping Mehrunes Dagon enter the realm. If anything he is the main antagonist or foe you face being the final boss in a way, as you don’t kill Dagon or even engage in combat with him. You may have come across his name by visiting the Mythix Dawn Museum in Skyrim and I think it would have been appropriate that he wielded Mehrunes Razor but sadly no. I might make one one day. He does however have his staff which is unique to him, not in design but in properties though it’s major one is casting lightening. Only those of the Septim blood can wear the Amulet of Kings, but he manages to wear it, possibly due to Daedric magic or perhaps he corrupted it, or the rules didn’t apply to him within his realm. He made his own realm called Paradise where you finally confront him, and on the way to his citadel modeled after the old Aylied architecture, he explains how he foresaw your coming and that Tamriel itself is a Daedric realm or princedom long lost of its prince (Lorkhan). It’s an interesting idea that our reality is just another Daedric realm where it’s Godlike ruler has died and the creations are just left to govern themselves to a certain extent. “Dagon cannot invade Tamriel” according to Camoran as it’s his birthright, Tamriel is the realm of change and as the prince of Destruction this would be a natural course in his eyes. What was important was to make him another ball jointed head so he could wear the Amulet of Kings as he does in game. I believe Gandalf figures are the most used figures for me now beating my Eowyn use. I may be wrong I’m not sure, but he does have the best robes and like I said Wizards! This one was a cobble of Boromirs torso and upper head, Legolas lower legs, Gandalf the white elbow joints and Gandalf the grey lower sleeves, Legolas wrists and hands and the lower jaw of a Captain America. The staff was just a Gandalf and smaller Radagast staff stuck together and altered then wrapped with some loose plastic. You know who also cause a lot of issues? Elves. Jagar Tharn, Mannimarco, Mankar Camoran, the Thalmer and technically Dagoth Ur to name a few. Anyway thanks for having a look. ![]() |
