I finished sculpting this one about a year ago but never bothered to paint it beyond an orange and white dry brush base, but whatever here’s a mudcrab. Not the most grandiose custom ever but important for probably the most common coastal/ sewer enemy encountered through most of the series. They’ve had several designs though I see this more as a differing species of mudcrab idea than a complete redesign every game. Anyway you’ve probably come across one of these if you’ve picked up an Elder Scrolls game. This particular one is meant to reflect the native crabs of Cyrodik. Mudcrab are aggressive large crustaceans and found throughout Tamriel including Skyrim where I think they went back to Morrowinds design.

This figure was made from 2 smaller figures upper torsos and arms stuck together to make 4 limbs then an extra limb added inbetween. Joints were added and end pieces were shuttled to a point, 2 general grievous toes are the mouth and a couple of Spiderman fingers with clay dots on are the eyes, whilst the shell is a Gandalf hat cut to the right shape and sculpted over and imprinted then some rocks sculpted on top of that. The crab arms are some small 3.75 Figure parts and a couple of hands trimmed to claw shapes then sculpted over. Then a lot of painting and dry brushing etc getting the right look.

He’s not my best work but I like mudcrabs.... except when I need to wait and can’t becauze “enemies are nearby” and find out it’s just s mudcrab or 2 and I can’t find them so I go insane lol. Thanks for having a look
