A simple kitbash custom, mostly parts-swapping, a few modifications, and no paint in under 5 minutes. This is a MCU-styled Comics Cap with the costume based on the Age of Ultron, Civil War and Endgame suits. It's just the torso of the MU 2013 Classic Cap with the arms, legs, belt, and shoulder harness(also head)I salvaged from my broken Marvel Infinite Series Steve Rogers. The shield and helmeted head is from the AoU All-Star 4-inch figure. The AoU Head is the only thing with any real modification. In order to put it on the MU neck joint, I used pock63's hot glue tutorial. I filled the head with hot glue and put it on the neck, which I had covered in plastic wrap so that they don't bond together. After it dried, I popped off the head and used an engraver tool to sand and smooth out the inside as well as cut off excess glue. I also used Silver Gundam Marker to paint the helmet wings. The shield I actually swapped the clips with a Captain America First Avenger comic shield so that the smaller clip fit onto the thinner wrist of the Steve Rogers arm. The belt, I had long since cut off the extra loops. And this is not even permanent, I can just swap out the parts back to Classic Cap, whatever fits my fancy. Mjolnir is from my MU Classic Thor, the smaller and softer handle allowing it to fit in his hand, which I removed the trigger fingers. Please wait... |
