So, since I had a bunch of headless DC Universe Classics New 52 Superman figures in my fodder box that I needed to do something with, I decided to give the old New 52 look a slight spin with a different head, and made a New 52 style Superman that looked like actor Henry Cavill.
So, to do this figure, I took the aforementioned headless DC Universe Classics New 52 Superman body, and used my Dremel to sand down the ball joint attached to the Superman figure's neck into a cylindrical post. Once the cylindrical post was formed, I set the figure aside and started working on the head. For the head, I had an extra alternate head from the DC Multiverse TRU Exclusive BvS Heat Vision Superman (the normal, non-Heat Vision head). Again using my Dremel, I hollowed out the inside of the Henry Cavill head. Next, I mixed up a small batch of Milliput and jammed it into the newly formed cavity inside the head. While the Milliput was still soft, I jammed the cylindrical post attached to the neck of the New 52 Superman figure into it to create a small hole in the center of the head cavity. Once the Milliput had dried, I test fit the head onto the neck, and satisfied with how the head and neck fit together, I glued the head in place atop the neck post, and TA-DA...an updated Henry Cavill style New 52 Superman!!!
