I always wondered why Fisto is so damn expensive on the aftermarket? While the fist IS a cool power-relic, the rest of the character (even in vintage form) is mediocre at best. Same goes for Clamp Champ. In movies from the 80’s, there was always a badass, jacked black-guy(usually played by Carl Weathers). And, the 80’s was when Mike Tyson was laying waste to everyone! So for a toy line that also came from the 80’s, you’d think they’d have a cool black He-Man; but no. They gave us a guy with a lame colour scheme, and a mechanical lobster-claw. Also; if Clamp Champ is supposed to be Man-At-Arms protegé, you’d think he would emulate his mentor by wearing a mechanical suit of armour, or something: but there IS no obvious correlation. Ugh!
I always thought the updated version of Clamp Champ resembled Muhammad Ali, so I thought it appropriate that he would have an iron right-hand! Here you all go; hope you enjoy Upper-Cut!
