Michelle Pfeiffer is in the movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil opposite Angelina Jolie, and before the movie came out, I went back to watch Batman Returns. It's a movie I've always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with, because I feel like it really is more a Tim Burton movie than a Batman movie. This means that Burton's stamp as a director is strongly evident in the movie, but that means the characters are quite different from how they're usually depicted in the comics. However, I greatly admire how much the actors threw themselves into the roles, especially Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman.

I have been hesitant to make a custom of Catwoman in her Batman Returns outfit because of all the little stitching details. I finally decided to go for it, and was strongly influenced by zelu1984's absolutely gorgeous Catwoman custom. I used a Wasp base with an Infinity War Black Widow head, removing the hair. I used the boots from Arkham Knight Catwoman and the hands from Hellcat. I sculpted on the cowl, the corset and the gloves. For the whip, I used the handle from the Marvel Legends Black Cat whip and used black twisty wire for the rest of the whip. Painted it all up, making sure to make sections of the costume extra glossy. Thanks for looking!
